Bora Bora Elopement : Brittany + Jeffery

Since I’ll be taking all my vacations virtually this year, it seems like the perfect time for a trip to Bora Bora!

Is is possible to take a photo of this place that isn’t spectacular? It’s so beautiful that I can fully understand why Brittany and Jeffery chose it for their destination elopement.

A true tropical paradise wedding if ever there was one!

From the Bride – ” My bridal team made our wedding day perfect. I am forever grateful for the love and constant support that was provided for us during our most special day. The French Polynesian culture is very special as are its citizens.”

How did the bride and groom meet?

We are proud to report that we are high school sweethearts. We have been in love and committed to each other every day for the past 15 years.

How did the groom propose?

The groom proposed in a truly magical way. On December 14th 2018 he took me to the Kansas City Ballet to watch The Nutcracker. Just after Clara enjoyed the dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy she and her Nutcracker Prince began their journey home. While the sweet sound of the Kansas City Symphony played around us, Jeffery Adams asked me to be his wife. We now have the tradition of attending The Nutcracker Ballet every December.

What was the inspiration behind planning your wedding?

Our careers and schooling have kept us quite busy over the years. We decided many years ago that we wanted a relaxing, intimate, and memorable wedding ceremony. We are blessed to have a family who has always supported this vision. We always wanted the focus of our wedding day to be on our love between one another. Our wedding in Bora Bora was all of this and more. Now we look forward to future anniversaries to spend on this beautiful island. The island where we said our vows and where the two of us became one.

Was there a special part of the wedding day that stood apart from the rest?

The entire day from start to finish was a tropical fairytale. There was concern for rain during our beach ceremony and even this news did not alter my mood or outlook for the day. I was preparing to become married in the most beautiful place on earth. How could I not be happy? One hour before our ceremony the rain clouds dissipated and the sun began shining through. Mount Otemanu became more visible and its lush green was highlighted by the suns rays. We were able to have our dream beach wedding under the magical Polynesian sun.

Who designed the wedding gown?

My wedding gown was designed by Italian designer Eddy K. I first seen my gown in an Italian wedding magazine. As soon as I seen it I knew it was the gown for me. After months of traveling and searching all over the United States I finally located this wedding gown. When I tried on this dress I knew immediately this was “the one”. Many have stated “this dress was designed for you”. I would have to agree!

Who designed the wedding shoes?

I wore a pair of customized barefoot wedding sandals embellished with white pearls and rhinestones. These sandals were created by a lovely woman by the name of Olga Bramine in Riga, Latvia.
