Another Tinder success story for the blog today! This was coming from all the way in London. Ryan and Luke met via Tinder back in 2014 and had an instant connection.
Fast forward to October 2019 and they were saying I do! They chose to make an adventure of it and headed to Joshua Tree National Park for their private elopement. Just them, the officiant and the photographer and the open road with a Mercedes convertible! How amazing does that sound?!
Here are a few words from the Grooms about how they met.
Ryan Said…
When and how did you and your partner meet?
He was my first and only tinder date. I came out relatively late in my life at 26. We had amazing chats and chemistry, both sharing a taste for ridiculous jokes and humor. We had our first date on November 19th 2014.
What did you first think of them?
He was cute, shy and funny. We instantly bonded and laughed all night.
Luke Said…
When and how did you and your partner meet?
We met via Tinder in November 2014. We shared many laughs over the course of a couple of weeks through the app, in particular about a British TV personality called Judy Finnigan. (We consequently named our puppy, Jude, after her). We then arranged to meet at the east entrance of Liverpool Street Station on Wednesday 19th November. We downed some beers at a speakeasy bar called the Mayor of Scaredy-Cat Town which you accessed via a Smeg fridge at the back of a restaurant. We talked, laughed, and had a fantastic night that included burritos and hot buttered rum in the rooftop teepee at The Queen of Hoxton. Ryan also made me an origami start from a flyer at the speakeasy bar which I still have.
What did you first think of them?
I thought he was gorgeous! (and still do).
