Every time I see an elopement in Paris I want to get on a plane immediately. The city has so many beautiful and timeless backdrops for a ceremony and Pierre always captures them so perfectly.
Jacqueline and Mike’s wedding day was no exception! They got married with the Eiffel Tower as their background and then roamed the street for photos with a stop by The Louvre. Does it get better than that?!

How did you meet? Tell us about the proposal.
We went to the same high school but mike was 3 years older, so we never spoke. We reconnected again 9 years later at a music festival with mutual friends and started dating almost immediately.
He proposed this summer at Sierra Nevada Brewery in North Carolina in front of family and friends. It was a total surprise to me because I thought I was only grabbing dinner with my parents. He had my cousin do my hair and makeup, made sure that my nails were done and that there were plenty of people to capture pictures and video.
What was most important for you on your elopement/wedding day, how did you envision it?
For our wedding I just wanted us to be together and enjoy the moment. We decided to elope because we didn’t want to get caught up in the stress that a big wedding comes with.
Do not stress about anything. Enjoy the moment because before you know it, the day is over and you don’t want to miss a thing.
After Paris, we went to Positano, Italy. It was so beautiful there! We spent our days on the beach eating pizza and spaghetti 🙂
