We’re continuing our break from the summer heat week with a snowy elopement in Alaska.
Alejandro and Mabel knew they wanted an adventure for their wedding day and I’d say they succeeded.
They hoped on a helicopter and headed to Ruth Glacier in Denali Park to say their I do’s and pop some champagne!
Here are a few words from their photographer about the couple and their day
“Mabel and Alejandro are both Colombian, born and raised with adventure in their blood and made to love each other. When they reached out about planning their elopement, it was about three weeks in advance. I was caught off guard at the short notice, but thankfully I was available. This couple holds a special place in my memories as I am also Colombian, half on my mother’s side. Being able to pose and prompt them and just communicate in Spanish was so much fun.
When they decided to get married they wanted it to be epic, an adventure, something that was rare and exciting. Alejo wanted to get married on the highest mountain top, and boy, did they get close in Denali National Park on Ruth Glacier!
Being a part of their wedding day was a wonderful experience!”
