Backyard Miami Microwedding: Christina + Jason

I’ve never been so jealous to not be at a wedding as I am of this one. I dare you to scroll through this gallery and not smile. Christina and Jason were nothing but smiles and personality on their wedding day. And her bridal jumpsuit is AMAZING.

Never before have I seen an egg race be incorporated into a wedding ceremony, but these photos are golden. Everyone should do this. And a babydoll toss instead of a bouquet toss? why not?

Doing something small doesn’t have to mean sacrificing the fun!

Here are a few words from their photographer about the day :

“Christina and Jason were not going to let Covid 19 ruin their special day. They had the most beautiful and intimate backyard wedding at their house. This day was filled with so much emotion, lots of smiles and laughter and even a few happy tears! I love the morning of photos and capturing everything that is going on. As well as all that, the cat and the dog really wanted a starring role in the day and the bride and groom had an egg and spoon race! It’s starting to sound more like a nursery rhyme! But it definitely was a fairytale day.

Jason and Christina said their I do’s in front of an intimate number of family members and it was just beautiful. They never stopped smiling the whole day and I had the privilege of capturing every moment of it. And while they couldn’t be joined in person by their closest friends, that didn’t spoil a thing. Even though a lot of the wedding guests were unable to attend the wedding because of travel restrictions, they were definitely there in spirit. They even put together a roast video for the happy couple to watch on the day. It was absolutely hilarious and a truly special gift from those who so desperately wanted to be there to celebrate with they’re amazing friends and family.”
