Every time I see a photo in Banff I want to pack my bags. It’s so beautiful and this micro wedding is no exception. Tamika and Cameron got married at Fairmont Hotel with gorgeous mountain views and about 20 of their family and friends.
How did you meet?
Cameron and I actually met on a dating app (Bumble). This was a very rare occurrence for me because I really did not think that it was even possible to meet quality people on a dating app. We gradually got to know each other over a few weeks before we decided to actually go on our first date. Our first date was actually at a board game cafe (his idea!) something so different but the rest is history.
How did he propose?
We were on vacation in Italy and we drove out to Positano for the day. He took me up to this scenic point where we could get some great shots of the beach, the landscapes, and the ocean all in one. He asked some ‘stranger’ to take our photo (who then turn out to be a photographer!) He was wearing a camera around his neck so he said he could take it and send it to us. Me being so naive I thought wow that’s so nice of him! And THAT is when he got down on one knee. Don’t ask me what he said because I was so in shock I don’t remember.

The wedding planning has been so crazy even though it’s small. Really and truly, we’re most looking forward to just spending each day together. Waking up next to each other and starting our life. Planning our family and our future.
