As I was scheduling out this week of posts to celebrate Pride Month (not that we don’t share and celebrate year round!), I continued to keep one spot open. I kept waiting for a submission that made me go “WOW that’s amazing!” and then I finally just decided to go find it myself.
I came across Derek and James wedding and did a jaw drop at Derek’s dress before I even realized he made it himself (what?!). Such a simple day, but so truly them, that I fell in love and knew it was the elopement I had been looking for.
They were joined on the beach at Jekyll Island by two close friends and their dog as they said I do and took some photos. This was a January wedding so they had the place to themselves, but still toes in the sand!
