Indianapolis Leap Day Microwedding: Cora + Andy

Other than 10-10-20 I think Leap Day was the most requested wedding date of the year. It fell on a Saturday making it an obvious choice for those wanting to take the leap into marriage! Falling at the end of February means very cold temps for the midwest, but Cora and Andy weren’t phased. Their adorable intimate gathering was the perfect hint of warmth on a cold winter day!

And they ended with a pizza party from Jockamo’s Pizza. I used to live in Indy and I can tell you that this pizza is legit! If you’re in the area, check it out!

Here are some words from their photographer, Sarah:

“Cora & Andy envisioned a sweet but small wedding day. They got married at The Benton House in Indianapolis, Indiana on the leap day, February 29, 2020. The Benton House is a historic gem in the heart of Irvington built back in 1873. It’s vintage charm was just the perfect venue for an intimate wedding.

Cora & Andy’s wedding day consisted of only 16 guests, all of which were immediate family and each of their bffs. The ceremony was simple and sweet followed by ordering pizza & breadsticks for everyone. Now that’s what I call a low-key wedding day! My favorite detail about this wedding was Cora’s lavender bouquet!”
