Intimate Wedding in Eldorado Canyon : Alex + Zoe

Welcome to Alex and Zoe’s intimate wedding! Although we preach our love for elopements, we also love a good intimate wedding. It’s perfect for those who can’t image their wedding day without the people most important to them remain true to their tiny wedding wishes. Smaller groups also mean access to some amazing locations and idea that aren’t possible with big groups and this one fits that mark for sure! They were able to rent a house nearby and spend the weekend celebrating with everyone!

Please enjoy some extra info below about the couple and the day from the team at Cactus Collective!

How they met:

Alex and Zoe have an adorable high school meet cute. They sat next to each other in Algebra Freshman year but didn’t wind up talking until 3 years later in their junior year through mutual friends. While hanging with all their buddies one night they snuck away to make some pizzas together and quickly became good friends. A year later they officially started dating. After Zoe arrived home from a 2-week study abroad trip to Nicaragua, Alex was waiting with her sister and his brother to propose. After she said yes, the very same friends who brought them together all appeared on the balcony above them and started cheering!

About the Location:

The happy couple chose Eldorado Canyon to say “I do” and rented a home nearby so they could comfortably celebrate with their wedding party. They decided to do their first look there amongst all their friends and family before heading to the ceremony. Their favorite part of the wedding was “being surrounded by the people that have played an intricate part in our love and our development. The site and views were also a major plus!”

Wedding Day Details:

Zoe wore a gorgeous vintage style lace dress from Blush Bridal in her hometown and Alex matched perfectly in a dapper 1920’s vested look. The Eldorado Canyon setting really tied the whole motif together with its rustic vintage feel.

Events with a Twist provided a customized 1920’s themed bar for their Friday night reception, along with B with a Twist Catering, which provided an exquisite spread of appetizers and BBQ dinner. The couple used all Cactus Collective vendors to make their day run smoothly and had these great things to say:
