I’m kind of jealous I wasn’t at this wedding. These two seem like a blast to be around and made sure their wedding day was full of fun and some spontaneous dance parties! I love that their officiant even joined in!
Here are a few words from their photographer about the day :
“Under an expansive sky and with the ocean keeping tempo, Erin and Jono’s Maui Elopement was breathtaking, and not just because they were laughing and dancing during every minute of it!
Erin made an entrance wearing her father’s military jacket to honor him. With an unbeatable smile, she sported a low-cut gown with a button-down back and demi train. Erin was radiant, and she wasn’t the only one glowing. Jono was practically competing with the Maui sun. The love these two have for each other is almost tangible.
Jono knew Erin was the one for him after he told her he’d biked to the restaurant where they both met. “Oh, yeah,” Erin replied. “How far?” To which he replied, “Five!” and watched her face. He didn’t get the admiring nod he expected. “Pfff, that’s nothing!” she replied. “I bike 10 miles to and from here every day!” He knew right then, she was his person.
Po’olenalena Beach set the stage, and what a perfect stage it was for these performers! From jiving with Reverend Kuya to Dirty Dancing vaults, Erin and Jono did not hold back when it came to celebrating their union! Following the ceremony, this spunky duo plans to bike up and down Maui’s sacred Mt. Haleakalā (a 70-mile adventure!). Wherever they go next, we hope these two keep rolling! ”
