This micro wedding in Red Rock Canyon Las Vegas is the perfect thing to get me in fall mode! I love the gorgeous yellow leaves that acted as a ceremony backdrop for Ashely and Ryan to say their I do’s.

“These high school sweethearts met in marching band and found that they were playing the same tune in more than one way (yes we went there). After endless sleepless nights talking they knew they had a serious connection. “When we would hang out, we’d sit for hours in my driveway because we couldn’t stop talking and just say goodbye,” said Ashley. They’ve been together for 8 years since then.
Ryan proposed during a weekend getaway to San Fransisco. The two went to the Japanese Garden in Golden Gate Park and when they finally were alone, Ryan asked her to marry them. They loved that this moment was private and there were no photos or videos, just them in the beauty of nature. It was fitting that they would recreate that on their wedding day at the Red Rock Canyon Overlook.
They decided to wait to see each other when they arrived at the overlook with the urging of some friends and family and though it was difficult to pull off, they were so glad they did. “Our favorite moment from the wedding is when we first saw each other. Nothing else in the world mattered in that moment and we forgot that anyone else was around,” said Ashley.
Ashley looked like a vision in a long sleeve lace dress. She credits Simply Bridal in Costa Mesa, California for helping her find the perfect dress. The staff helped her try on a myriad of dresses until she found the perfect on that checked off all her boxes. She topped her look with a boho-chic garland in her hair that matched her bouquet perfectly.
This happy couple recommends doing what you want on your big day. Ashley concluded “Ryan and I did not regret any of the decisions we made because despite what people were telling us to do (because we need to follow tradition), we always stuck with what felt right. When we look back, we really don’t have any regrets because of this.” Here’s to a life full of no regrets for these two!”
