We always love when couple fully embrace their weddings days and find new ways to make their cultures and traditions their own. Brittnie and Huey did just that. They did two outfits for the day. Including a traditional Vietnamese look as a nod to Huey’s family.
They got up before the sun to do first look under the stars! They hiked around for photos and then rejoined their families for the ceremony, some cake and zip lining!
From their Photographer:
This Dallas couple drove up to me to photograph their adventure elopement in Palo Duro Canyon and that’s exactly what they got! Once we got to our first location the couple changed into traditional Vietnamese wedding attire and it was STUNNING. I honestly wanted them to leave it on the whole time.
From the Bride:
We met in what I feel is the new normal through online dating! The funny part is Huey coached my cousin and played in a golf tournament with my grandpa and uncle before we knew each other! Our first date was a picnic with my favorite food. The date went so well that we continued it by going to a SFA basketball watch party.
Our favorite memory from the wedding was doing the morning hike and looking at the stars! I feel since we live in the city, we do not get to enjoy them as much. Also driving the Off Road Vehicle was a close second! It’s so hard to choose just one!
The best advice I would like to give future brides is to make the day all about what you and your partner will enjoy! It was nice to just do things we really enjoyed and do it with our loved ones.
We chose Brit Nicole Photography to photograph our wedding because when we spoke she was super funny and had similar humor as ours! She had this great vision of these really fun things that just enhanced our day!
