As an amazing bonus please scroll to the end to see their video! I definitely teared up so make sure the tissues are handy!

And enjoy some info and Q&A from the couple below. Obviously being Italian, English is not their first language so their photographer Selene was kind enough to help us with some translating and help us tell their story in addition to everything else as she is good friends with the couple as well.

How they met

They met at a club through mutual friends. At first, Matteo noticed Costanzo but his friends told him to let him go, but he realized he just couldn’t. From the first moment they started talking to each other, sparks happened and they realized they were meant for each other.

They moved in together almost immediately, and from day one they decided they wanted to live, explore and experience the world together, hand in hand.

How they decided on the location

Without telling anyone, they decided to travel hand in hand, once again, and reach the impossibly beautiful Lake Braies in the heart of the Dolomites.

Lake Braies is a pretty renowned location in Italy, and it gets very crowded during the summer months.

The atmosphere you can breathe in the winter, though, is completely different, and no less beautiful.

The whole lake was frozen, covered by a tiny layer of snow, but the day was warm and sunny. They rented a private house and walked there together on the morning of their Elopement day.

They had their first look on the terrace of the house – their love and excitement were so real, so beautifully pure we were captured by it.

They put on their super cute wintery-boutonniere, then walked together to the corner of the lake where they exchanged their vows and rings, self-celebrating their love as husband and husband.

What was your favorite part of the day?

Looking at each other’s eyes and reading their vows, surrounded by the beautiful nature of the snowy Dolomites.

They put on their super cute wintery-boutonniere, then walked together to the corner of the lake where they exchanged their vows and rings, self-celebrating their love as husband and husband.

They ended their wedding day with a stunning front-lake dinner, laughing and kissing in the day of their lives.

They told no one about their Elopement – it was a surprise for everyone until the day after, when finally they told all their friends and relatives – hey, we eloped!

Such love stories are so beautiful and true, it was an honor for us to photograph and film their love and make it immortal.
